




Job Summary: Supervise the design, construction, and commissioning of the San José plant, ensuring compliance with requirements related to production, quality, safety, cost, and schedule. Optimize plant design and apply technologies for resource optimization. **Objective:** Supervise the design, construction, and commissioning of the San José plant to ensure compliance with established requirements in production, quality, safety, cost, and defined schedules, aligning capabilities, resources, and volumes with corporate strategy and projected demand, while integrating principles of efficiency, sustainability, and continuous improvement. **Responsibilities:** * Supervise engineering and construction to ensure project deliverables meet requirements for efficiency, quality, safety, and environmental standards. * Develop quality assurance and quality control plans for deliverables to guarantee compliance with technical requirements. * Prepare service and material requisitions to ensure timely supply. * Review, analyze, and optimize plant design to improve processes. . Apply and implement technologies in water treatment, effluent treatment, and industrial processes to optimize plant resources. * Manage project documentation closeout, as well as tracking and resolution of observations for final validation and handover. * Propose solutions and redesigns in engineering to improve design criteria and regulatory compliance. . Supervise and establish protocols during the construction phase to ensure proper installation of equipment and instrumentation. . Conduct focused meetings for continuous improvement and process safety. * Lead, manage, and develop commissioning, startup, change control, HAZOP, and quality control teams to ensure compliance with Process Safety Management (PSM) requirements. . Be responsible for one's own safety and that of workers operating in the area, and act immediately upon notification of any hazard—halting operations or work activities in high-risk situations to eliminate or minimize such risks. **Requirements:** . Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering and/or related fields. . Three years of experience in supervisory roles at emulsion plants. . Knowledge of P&ID diagrams, mass balances, and control systems. . A1 driver’s license preferred.
