Requires experience in project management within the mining sector. **Job Description** **2M MICON S.A.C.**, a company dedicated to executing mining and civil projects, as well as renting heavy and light machinery for the mining and construction sectors, is seeking a Project Manager with experience in project management and advanced Excel skills to lead the planning, execution, and control of the company's projects. **Responsibilities** * Plan, organize, and direct the execution of assigned projects at each mining unit. * Develop and monitor the overall project schedule (Gantt/critical path) and track physical and financial progress for each project. * Develop and monitor the budget for each project, manage cost variances, and propose corrective actions. * Coordinate with Operations, SSOMA, Logistics, and HR departments to secure required human, material, and equipment resources for each project. * Supervise compliance with quality standards, technical specifications, and applicable regulations for each construction site or project. * Manage client relationships at each unit, ensuring adherence to contractual agreements (SLA, deliverables, valuations). * Review and approve valuations, extras, deductions, and other contractual documentation related to assigned projects. * Coordinate with the SSOMA department to implement safety and environmental controls at each work front. * Prepare periodic project progress reports for General Management. **Academic Qualifications** * Civil Engineering, Mining Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fields. * Mandatory: specialization, diploma, or master’s degree in Project Management (PMP or similar certification preferred). **Experience** * Minimum 5 years of experience in project management and leadership within the mining sector. * Proven experience leading projects across multiple mining units or in itinerant/rotational assignments. * Experience managing contracts with mining titleholders, valuations, and construction budgetary control. **Technical Knowledge** * Project management (scope, time, cost, quality, risks) under PMI-type methodologies. * Mining safety regulations (Supreme Decree No. 024-2016-EM and amendments) applicable to project execution. * Contract management, valuations, extras, and deductions. **Other Requirements** * Availability to work under atypical work regimes according to the assigned unit and project. * Driver’s license (preferred). **We Offer** * Excellent working environment. * Market-competitive remuneration.
