Initial Level Teacher **Job Description** *The teacher at the I.E.P. ensures comprehensive student development and fosters the graduate profile.* *The teacher identifies with the institution’s educational principles, carries out pedagogical duties in collaboration with other members of the Educational Community and in close coordination with School Administration and Coordination, bearing primary responsibility for developing and achieving students’ competencies.* **Academic Responsibilities:** ● Contribute to the planning and implementation of institutional activities and projects. ● Promote relevant, high-cognitive-demand teaching-learning activities. ● Participate in the assigned Institutional Committee, committing to the scheduled Annual Work Plan. ● Design and develop printed and/or virtual teaching materials required for learning sessions, considering students’ competency development. ● Carry out planning, implementation, and evaluation within their area of expertise: Planning: Plan and submit, prior to the start of classes, the annual plan, competency matrix, content poster, assessment instruments, and diagnostic assessment. Submit programming documents according to the number of weekly pedagogical teaching hours. Relate content to other subjects and courses. Teaching: Stimulate students’ interest in learning. Develop in students the competencies that enable them to learn.
