




Position Summary: Review and validate Customs Declarations for Goods (DAM) technically and regulatory, ensuring correct classification and valuation, and controlling tax assessment and customs regimes. Key Responsibilities: 1. Technical and regulatory review of Customs Declarations for Goods (DAM). 2. Validation of tariff classification and customs valuation. 3. Control of tax assessment and use of customs regimes. 1\. Technically and regulatory review **DAM** before submission to SUNAT. VERIFY ALL DAM FIELDS AND DIGITALIZED DOCUMENTS, CORRECTING IF NECESSARY MORE THAN ONCE UNTIL IT IS READY FOR SUBMISSION TO SUNAT 2\. Validate correct **tariff classification** in accordance with the Peruvian Customs Tariff. 3\. Verify correct **customs valuation** according to the WTO Agreement on Implementation of Article VII of the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade 1994 (Agreement on Customs Valuation). 4\. Control correct tax assessment: **Ad Valorem, IGV, IPM**, anti-dumping and countervailing duties, ISC, SPECIFIC DUTY, AND WITHHOLDING 5\. Review and validate supporting documentation: commercial invoice, packing list, BL/AWB, insurance policies, certificates of origin, and transport documents. 6\. Control proper use of **customs regimes**: Import for Consumption, Temporary Admission, Customs Warehouse, Drawback, Definitive Export, among others.
