Gambeta with Ovalo Centenario) \| On-site** At KATSURA, we are looking for a Mechanical Assistant to support maintenance, repair, and installation of mechanical equipment and components aboard naval vessels and in metalworking workshops. **Requirements** * Technical high school diploma or university student in final cycles of: Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or Maritime Engineering with specialization in machinery. * Preferably 1 year of experience in metalworking or naval work. * Basic knowledge of hand and power tools. * Availability for on-site work in Callao. * Responsibility, proactivity, and willingness to learn. **Responsibilities** * Assist in all activities related to equipment maintenance and metalworking tasks aboard vessels or in workshops. * Clean components, tools, and work areas before, during, and after each service. * Keep the work area organized during every activity performed. * Prepare, transport, and organize tools, materials, and equipment required for workshop, dock, or vessel operations. * Support maneuvering operations and handling of equipment, tools, and components. * Participate in basic inspections to identify wear, leaks, failures, or mechanical anomalies. * Strictly comply with industrial safety procedures and established operational standards. * Maintain order, cleanliness, and proper placement of materials and equipment within the workshop. * Promptly report incidents, damages, or unsafe conditions to the responsible mechanic or supervisor. * Support other operational activities related to service delivery and departmental needs. * Comply with all instructions assigned by the immediate supervisor.
