GIZ International Services is preparing to participate in the European Union’s tender **“Global Gateway Peru”.** The project’s primary objective is to support the implementation of the Global Gateway strategy in Peru, promoting responsible and sustainable European investments with economic, social, and environmental impact in the country. This initiative will focus on key sectors such as renewable energy, sustainable transport, water and sanitation, digitalization, and the environment. It aims to foster an investment-friendly environment by strengthening regulatory and institutional frameworks, encouraging dialogue between public and private actors, and supporting the identification, preparation, and structuring of investment projects. **Your tasks** -------------- **Main responsibilities:** * Technical, strategic, and operational coordination of technical assistance, ensuring contract objectives are met and the expert team delivers high-quality work. * Supporting the European Union Delegation in coordinating the implementation of Global Gateway in Peru, including monitoring activities, indicators, and results. * Facilitating dialogue and coordination among key stakeholders (public sector, private sector, EU Member States, and European partners), as well as organizing meetings, events, and missions. * Preparing sectoral analyses, work plans, and reports, as well as developing and monitoring evaluation systems and supporting the identification of cooperation and investment opportunities. **Your Profile** ---------------- **Your profile** **Requirements:** * University degree in economics, public administration, engineering (related to management sciences, industrial engineering, or similar fields), or another discipline relevant to the contract’s priority sectors; alternatively, vocational training in these areas plus at least four years of relevant professional experience. * Proficiency in Spanish (spoken and written, level C2 or native language) and knowledge of English (level B2\). * Minimum of ten years of total professional experience. * Minimum of three years of experience in one of the Global Gateway strategy areas in Peru, in infrastructure projects, sectoral planning, or investment mobilization. * Minimum of five years of experience in managing, coordinating, or advising on projects related to public investment management, including leadership of teams of at least five people, planning, monitoring, inter-institutional coordination, and technical supervision. * Minimum of two years of experience in business management and promotion, preferably in contexts related to public markets, investment project structuring, public-private articulation, or public-private partnerships, including interaction with companies, financial institutions, and other private-sector stakeholders. **Desirable:** * Postgraduate studies, specialized training, or certifications related to technical assistance domains. * At least two additional years of experience in other Global Gateway strategy areas in Peru. * Prior experience of at least one year in projects funded by the European Union or other multilateral or bilateral international cooperation agencies. **Location information** ------------------------ Lima, Peru **Notes** --------- This is a part-time position (minimum of 520 working days).
