




Position Summary: A civil engineering professional responsible for ensuring quality in construction projects, verifying compliance with plans and procedures, and managing technical documentation. Key Highlights: 1. Ensures quality and regulatory compliance in construction processes. 2. Verifies materials, equipment, and work procedures on site. 3. Manages technical documentation and quality control in construction. Responsibilities: * Validates and oversees implementation of the Quality Assurance Plan. * Reviews the Contractor’s schedule to verify inclusion of inspections and tests. * Ensures the Contractor delivers a Quality Plan orientation session to new personnel joining the site. * Verifies that the Contractor conducts training on work procedures and hold points. * Ensures protocolization of each construction process on site. * Verifies the quality of critical materials used in construction. * Reviews that measurement and testing equipment is calibrated, possesses a valid Calibration Certificate, and is stored in the appropriate location; updates the control matrix accordingly. * Enforces technical requirements of the construction process, in accordance with approved work procedures and good construction practices. * Identifies non-conforming outputs and reports them. Coordinates corrective treatments and actions for non-conforming outputs. * Oversees compliance with release protocols for each construction process jointly with the Contractor. * Channels submittals/technical data sheets. * Routes RFIs to the appropriate team member and maintains records and progress tracking of responses. * Validates and consolidates the Quality Dossier and as-built drawings provided by the Contractor. * Maintains a record of lessons learned from the project for project closeout. * Prepares daily, weekly, and monthly reports. Required Experience: · Minimum of 5 years’ experience in quality control roles within construction projects. · A diploma in project management is desirable. · Demonstrable experience in short-duration, high-impact construction projects. Education / Knowledge: · Degree in Civil Engineering. · PMP certification or studies in project management or portfolios are desirable.
