**COMMERCIAL BANKING ANALYST \- LARGE CORPORATES**
**Mission:**
Contributes to the overall success of Commercial and Institutional Banking by ensuring that individual-specific objectives, plans, and initiatives are executed or fulfilled in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities are conducted in compliance with current internal standards, policies, and procedures.
**Requirements:**
* Completed university degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, and/or Industrial Engineering.
* Minimum 1 year of experience in commercial units, client portfolio management, credit, risk, or related areas.
* Required knowledge: Financial statement analysis, decision-making based on financial information, commercial profile
* Tools: MS Excel
* Required language: Intermediate\-advanced English
**Responsibilities:**
* Maximize utilization of operational lines for assigned clients by identifying their financial needs and providing appropriate quotations.
* Collect and provide necessary information to the Relationship Manager and Business Officer to promote utilization of existing lines, products, and services currently held by the client.
* Identify opportunities for Cash, Payroll, and other active and passive products and services; communicate findings to the Relationship Manager, Business Officer, and product specialists.
* Respond promptly and effectively to client requests, inquiries, and complaints within the scope of responsibility. Route client banking inquiries to the appropriate departments.
* Review compliance with discount line parameters for bills of exchange/invoices; where applicable, manage corresponding approvals with Credit per established process. Direct interaction with Treasury (competitive rates), monitoring impact of preferential rates.
* Participate in Bank committees (short-term commercial goals and plans).
* Coordinate and track disbursement requests to Corporate Services and other departments until completion of the client-requested process.
* Conduct commercial planning with the Relationship and Product Officer.
* Accompany the Relationship Officer on client visits.
* Support review and registration of preferential commissions and their renewal.
* Continuously monitor accounts and products within assigned portfolios to ensure compliance with criteria set forth by Credit, Audit, and Compliance departments.
* Monitor maturity dates of obligations (Run Off).
* Timely identify and communicate potential weaknesses and risks affecting a client, based on client conversations.
* Verify compliance with approved exceptions and commitments, follow up on regularization thereof. Prepare temporary excess requests to Credit when credit lines are at capacity.
* Facilitate timely client service by promoting and implementing measures that optimize turnaround time between credit evaluation and proposal formulation.
* Adhere to the Bank’s anti-money laundering program and business conduct guidelines, reporting any unusual circumstances or fraudulent activity per established procedures.
* Follow up on collection from delinquent clients, ensuring delinquency ratios remain aligned with portfolio profitability targets, and inform the Client Relations and Credit Solutions Group to take appropriate actions.
* Contribute to Commercial and Institutional Banking productivity by identifying and actively participating with recommendations to improve processes and systems, while maintaining an overall low-risk profile for the Bank.
* Prepare Materiality, Run\-Off, Forecasting, TTs to Impact, Line Utilization, New Clients, Deal Lost, and other reports deemed necessary by the area for optimal management control.
* Provide direct support to assigned Relationship Officer(s), as well as ongoing process support in case of absence.
* Comply with Bank regulations, policies, and procedures regarding deposit, investment, loan, and service sales by applying the Know Your Customer procedure—including client identification, verification of fund sources, and awareness of the nature and volume of anticipated activity. Review and support the Relationship Manager on AML/KYC matters.
* Understand the Bank’s risk culture and how risk appetite must be considered in daily activities and decisions.
* Actively conduct effective and efficient operations within respective areas, while ensuring adequacy, compliance, and effectiveness of daily business controls to meet obligations aimed at mitigating operational risk, regulatory non-compliance risk, money laundering and terrorist financing risk, and conduct risk—including responsibilities defined under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, International Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorist Financing Manual, and Business Conduct Guidelines.
