Job Summary: We are seeking a Senior Field Engineer to lead technical specifications and ensure Hilti’s involvement in large-scale projects within the Energy & Industrial segments, collaborating closely with customers and internal teams. IMPROVE THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY WITH HILTI We are looking to hire a Senior Field Engineer for our Engineering team in Peru. In this role, you will serve as the primary liaison for project development from early-stage design and specification within the Energy & Industrial segment—particularly in mining, oil, and gas projects. You will be a strategic partner to each customer, demonstrating the value of our solutions from the specification stage and ensuring our participation across every phase of the project through to completion. You will work closely with our commercial and technical engineering teams, exercising influence and leadership to increase our share of each project. WHAT YOU’LL DO '- Lead technical specification efforts for industrial, mining, and Oil & Gas projects, positioning Hilti solutions from the design stage through to project completion. * Conduct on-site visits to mining and industrial operations to perform demonstrations, technical validations, and customer support. * Maintain consistent contact with our customers, engineering consultancies, industrial firms, and their respective departments—engineering, procurement, and project management—demonstrating the value of our solutions in their projects and operations. * Identify projects at early stages, map key stakeholders, and generate highly qualified opportunities to develop jointly with the commercial team. * Collaborate with Account Managers, Business Developers, and the technical engineering team to ensure conversion of specifications into sales, engaging each customer strategically. * Serve as a key integrator to secure Hilti’s participation in large-scale projects—from design and specification through to project completion—coordinating and collaborating with our internal teams. WHAT YOU’LL BRING '- Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics-Electrical Engineering, or Mining Engineering. * Minimum 8 years of prior experience in mining, construction, oil & gas, or industrial projects, with hands-on field exposure. * Prior experience in commercial or customer-facing technical advisory roles within the sector. * Strong competencies in project planning and execution processes, with understanding of all phases from initiation to closure. * Ability to present comprehensive value propositions, considering technical, commercial, and other relevant factors. * Conversational English (mandatory). * Leadership, influence, and team management skills. * CRM experience (e.g., Salesforce) preferred; SAP experience ideal. * Willingness to travel frequently to operational sites. * Valid driver’s license.
