We’re looking for top talent for the Junior Networking Analyst position. **Responsibilities and Duties** Responsibilities and Duties: * Provide on-site support for networking equipment implementations or changes across Cálidda’s various sites, as well as at five major client sites where communication links have been contracted by Cálidda and where networking equipment is also deployed. * Provide on-site support for third-party activities that may potentially affect services; perform verification tests upon completion of such activities. * Install and connect cables between communication equipment comprising the service. * Manage communications and follow up until resolution of incidents and requests related to security equipment vendors. * Manage communications and follow up until resolution of incidents and requests related to communication link equipment vendors. P á g i n a 31 \| 81 * Conduct troubleshooting activities with ICT solution providers where LAN networks are involved. * Configure servers for storing logs from communication equipment defined by Cálidda. * Configure equipment in monitoring systems approved by Cálidda (SolarWinds). • Provide preventive and corrective support for performance issues, threshold overflows, or other errors. * Develop work plans, diagrams, and change management documentation for activities. * Manage the network to ensure system security by implementing secure configurations on network devices, managing changes, and keeping the network architecture updated to meet Cálidda’s requirements. * Ensure proper network segmentation through VLANs. * Create, update, and maintain the IT component database (CMDB). * Develop physical maintenance schedules for networking devices. * Perform annual maintenance on networking devices outside business hours and validate their proper functionality. * Support implementations of new solutions and modifications to the current network that may impact infrastructure. * Develop high availability (HA) testing plans for Cálidda’s network components and inter-site connectivity. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Graduate in Networks and Informatics. * Minimum 3 years of experience in this role or similar positions. * Full proficiency with 3 years of experience.
