We are currently seeking an experienced **MINING DATA ANALYST** to join our Geosciences team in Santiago, Chile. This position reports directly to the Geosciences Manager and focuses on data analysis within the mining industry context. You will work directly with clients to integrate MineSense solutions into their grade control processes and demonstrate the value of using our systems. Ideally, we seek a detail-oriented, autonomous individual with enthusiasm for creating innovative solutions. ### **Responsibilities:** * Support new and existing clients in leveraging MineSense technologies across their grade control, operations, planning, and processing workflows—including developing reports and presentations for clients. * Collaborate with internal teams to develop predictive models correlating mine-grade measurements or estimates with our sensor outputs to identify patterns, trends, or other data features related to grade, texture, mineralogy, or lithology. * Work with the Field Services and Product Development teams to further enhance our products and services through system data analysis and data quality assurance/control. * Assess and monitor model accuracy and precision by comparing predictions against sampled assay grades or grade estimates. * Report and present data results/trends to internal teams and external clients. * Collaborate closely with the Data Team to build and maintain *queries*, *scripts*, and reports while ensuring data is well-organized and properly maintained. * Build and sustain strong working relationships with our clients. * Promote a positive company culture through continuous sharing of information, knowledge, and experience—supporting the learning and development of fellow colleagues. * Contribute to coordination, business understanding, and corporate consolidation—and help promote our culture. * Comply with quality, safety, health, and environmental standards and procedures in alignment with our commitment to our Program, Global Policies, Code of Conduct, applicable legal regulations, as well as our values and principles. * Perform additional duties as occasionally required by your supervisor. ### **Requirements:** * Degree in Geology, Mining Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field. * Ideally 3+ years of relevant experience in the mining industry, with focus on grade control or geo-mine-metallurgical planning. * Experience conducting statistical data analysis or data science in a professional setting. * Experience using data handling and analysis tools such as SQL, Python, or other relevant packages. * Experience solving diverse problems through varied data analysis approaches using quantitative methods to generate deeper insights. * Strong attention to detail and interest in problem-solving. * Advanced spoken and written English communication skills. * Portuguese language skills are desirable but not mandatory. * Willingness and ability to travel globally to support our clients (10–30% of time). * Legal authorization to work in Chile. *The compensation offered will be determined based on your experience, knowledge, and skills, as well as relevant market data and our internal equity practices.
