ANALYTICAL LABORATORY is an accredited environmental laboratory dedicated to providing environmental monitoring and analytical services across multiple sectors, including mining, hydrocarbons, industry, fisheries, etc. We are seeking a **PHYSICAL-CHEMICAL LABORATORY ANALYST II**
**REQUIREMENTS:**
* Bachelor's degree or professional title in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, and/or related fields.
* Graduate or Technical Diploma in Chemical Analysis or related technical fields.
* Minimum 3 years of experience.
* NTP\-ISO/IEC 17025\ standard.
* Technical English or basic English (optional)
* Microsoft Office (minimum: basic Excel or user-level proficiency)
* Execution and/or implementation of analyses on environmental samples ***and/or food.***
* Control and assurance of result validity
* Method validation (optional)
* Estimation and evaluation of measurement uncertainty
* Knowledge of Minitab or other statistical software ***(desirable)***
* ***Knowledge of air and microbiological surface sampling techniques*** (optional)
**RESPONSIBILITIES:**
* Comply with the Quality Management System (QMS) policy and other management system guidelines.
* Perform analyses according to established methodologies.
* Record, document, and maintain all obtained data per management system specifications.
* Identify deviations, risks, or improvement opportunities within the management system or laboratory service procedures; report to immediate supervisor.
* Ensure application of validity assurance for results.
* Participate in and maintain laboratory equipment, instrument, and facility order and cleanliness.
* Implement and/or validate new laboratory methodologies in coordination with the supervisor.
* Document uncertainty studies for testing methods.
* Document validation studies for testing methods.
* Verify operational status and proper functioning of laboratory equipment per authorization.
* Monitor the laboratory equipment calibration, maintenance, and intermediate verification program.
* Request necessary equipment for assigned testing activities.
* Meet result delivery deadlines to immediate supervisor.
* Monitor status in coordination with the Laboratory Supervisor.
* ***Cover the Laboratory Supervisor's duties during leaves, vacations, and/or any related activities.***
* Other duties assigned as inherent to the position.
