




Job Summary: SGS seeks a professional to conduct inspections, sampling, and supervision, coordinating with clients and teams to ensure compliance with procedures and service quality. In Peru, we operate across most economic sectors—including mining, agriculture, and fishing—forming part of the value chain for their products and services. **Job Description*** Conduct inspections, sampling, supervision, and/or client coordination according to area-specific requirements (Inspection Order, procedures, work instructions, and operational instructions established by the inspection body). * Participate in service opening and closing meetings. * Develop the work schedule for the service based on the Inspection Order. * Assign field activities and tasks to the team of inspectors under your supervision for service execution. * Ensure adherence to the work schedule and timely delivery of inspection-related documents (deliverables) to the Operations Coordinator / Project Coordinator. * Verify equipment and materials provided by the Instrumentation and Materials Preparation team before and after service execution. * Keep the Project Coordinator, Operations Coordinator, and Account Executive informed about inspection progress or any events that may affect service execution. Also keep the client informed about service details. * Participate and ensure that personnel under your supervision attend the 5-Minute Safety Talks. * Complete the Preliminary Risk Analysis (PRA) form prior to commencing work. * Conduct Quality and Safety supervision of personnel scheduled for the service, based on activity-related risks and hazards. * Generate a report of substandard acts and/or conditions in Intelex on a monthly basis. * Complete a minimum of 20 hours of safety training. * Participate in the proposed Safety Tools. * Participate in the annual Quality training program to achieve competency in basic sampling matrices. * Provide competency assessments to personnel working with you on services, in coordination with the Quality department. Propose improvement opportunities to enhance work performance, participating in the review of inspection and sampling procedures and work instructions. **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree or Technical diploma in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Fisheries, Biology, or related fields. * Availability to work rotating shifts. * Willingness and ability to travel. * Minimum one year of relevant work experience. * Competency/certification in sampling for water, air, soil, noise, and emissions matrices. * Personnel management experience. * Office software: Windows environment, Excel. * Driver’s license preferred: Class A1 (minimum 3 years) or Class A2b (minimum 2 years). **Additional Information** * Statutory Life Insurance * Ongoing training opportunities * Corporate partnership agreements * Career development path
