Commitment to industrial safety standards We are seeking a **Grinder Operator** responsible for performing grinding, cleaning, and surface finishing of cast parts, ensuring compliance with the company's established quality, safety, and productivity standards. This position requires manual dexterity, physical stamina, and commitment to industrial safety standards. **Main Responsibilities** * Perform manual grinding of cast parts to remove burrs, excess material, and surface defects. * Operate tilting grinders and hand tools for finishing metal parts. * Carry out grinding and adjustment work according to technical instructions. * Conduct visual inspection of surface finish and report any observations or detected defects. * Assist in handling and positioning parts during the grinding process. * Strictly comply with safety procedures and mandatory use of PPE. * Maintain order and cleanliness in the work area. * Perform other related duties assigned by the immediate supervisor. **Requirements** * Completed secondary education. * Minimum 2 years’ experience as a grinder operator in foundries or metalworking workshops. * Knowledge of tilting grinders and manual grinding tools. * Good physical condition and availability for physically demanding tasks. * Commitment to safety, order, and operational discipline. * Availability to work on-site in San Martín de Porres. * Residence in nearby areas is desirable. **Competencies** * Responsibility and commitment. * Attention to detail. * Willingness to perform operational work and collaborate in teams. * Compliance with rules and procedures. * Proactivity and willingness to learn.
