Coordination with key entities in foreign trade We Are Seeking an Accredited Customs Agent A Customs Agent is a professional specialized in managing import and export procedures, responsible for ensuring compliance with current regulatory requirements before SUNAT. The individual holds official accreditation after successfully completing the courses and evaluations mandated by the Peruvian customs authority. **\- Academic Qualifications** * Technical or university studies in: * International Trade * International Business * Administration * Related fields * **Mandatory:** Accreditation as a Customs Agent issued by SUNAT * Updated training in: * Peruvian Customs Legislation * Tariff Classification * Customs Valuation * Customs Regimes **\- Experience** * Minimum 1 to 3 years in: * Customs agencies * Logistics operators * Import/export companies * Experience in: * DAM (Customs Declaration for Goods) numbering * Coordination with warehouses and port terminals * Management of physical and documentary customs inspections **\- Main Responsibilities** * Preparing and managing customs declarations (DAM) * Classifying goods according to tariff schedules * Coordinating with entities such as: * SUNAT * Shipping lines, temporary storage facilities, and terminals * Reviewing import/export documentation (invoices, bills of lading, packing lists, etc.) * Tracking customs clearance until release * Ensuring compliance with current regulatory requirements **\- Key Knowledge Areas** * General Customs Law of Peru * Integrated Customs Management System (SIGAD) * Incoterms * Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) * Tariff classification and valuation **\- Competencies** * High level of organization and attention to detail * Analytical ability * Ability to work under pressure * Effective communication * Professional responsibility and ethics **\- Mandatory Requirements** * Valid accreditation as a Customs Agent with SUNAT * Up-to-date knowledge of customs regulations * Proficiency in customs systems **\- Preferred Qualifications** * Basic or intermediate English proficiency * Intermediate Excel skills * Experience across various regimes (import, export, transit, etc.) **Application** If you meet the profile, please submit your updated CV and join our team.
