




DESCRIPTION A leading company in the mining sector is looking for a professional to fill the position of Water Resources Engineer with the following responsibilities: * Lead and supervise the design of water management and control structures in mining projects. * Coordinate hydrological and hydrogeological studies conducted by external consulting firms. * Validate and present technical results to authorities and clients. * Plan and implement surface and groundwater monitoring programs. * Analyze and validate water quality data and chemical parameters. * Support hydrogeological modeling and interpretation of results. * Evaluate technical alternatives for water resource management. * Ensure compliance with environmental and quality regulations. * Lead technical teams and coordinate with other departments. * Prepare technical reports and supporting documentation. REQUIREMENTS * Civil Engineer, Geologist, or Environmental Engineer with specialization in Hydraulics or Hydrogeology. * Minimum of 5 years of experience in water resources, preferably in mining (open-pit) or agriculture. * Experience in hydrogeological modeling (Feflow desirable) and model validation. * Experience in fieldwork, water quality analysis, and coordination with laboratories. * Intermediate to advanced English proficiency for interaction with international consultants.
