At Prosol Ispacas S.A., a mining company, we are currently seeking the best talent to fill the position of: **GEOMECHANICAL ENGINEER** **WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?** **ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:** * Qualified and licensed Mining or Geology Engineer. * Courses or diplomas in Rock Mechanics, Applied Geomechanics, Mining Support, or Geotechnics (highly valued). **EXPERIENCE:** * Minimum 5 years of experience in underground mining. * Proven experience in operational geomechanics. * Experience in conventional gold mining is desirable. * Fieldwork experience (mine site) and preparation of technical reports. **KNOWLEDGE:** * Geomechanical classification systems: RMR, Q, GSI. * Geomechanical mapping in underground workings. * Split Set, Swellex, and helical rock bolts. * Welded wire mesh, shotcrete, and timber sets. * Stability assessment of underground workings (galleries, ramps, raises). * Identification and management of geomechanical risks. * Supreme Decree No. 024-2016-EM and its amendments. * Interpretation of geomechanical plans and sections. **COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:** * Leadership and decision-making. * Planning and organizational skills. * Ability to work under pressure and within mining shift schedules. * Effective communication and teamwork. * Strong commitment to safety and operational order. * Professional ethics and accountability. **BENEFITS:** * Formal employment with all statutory benefits. * 100% covered accommodation, 100% covered meals, and transportation to the mine site from our boarding zones (Arequipa, Lima, Ica, Juliaca). * Positive work environment.
