Job Summary: We are seeking a Vehicle Inspector to conduct technical, aesthetic, and documentary inspections, coordinating with drivers and proposing operational improvements, with emphasis on safety and compliance. Technical and Mechanical Inspection** * Conduct daily, weekly, or scheduled inspections of each unit. * Verify the condition of engine, brakes, suspension, steering, lights, tires, and other critical systems. * Issue fault reports and coordinate with the maintenance department for necessary corrections. * Validate functional tests after repairs. **2\. Aesthetic and Equipment Inspection** * Inspect interior and exterior cleanliness of vehicles. * Confirm the condition of seats, floor mats, seat belts, windows, panels, and accessories. * Verify operation of taximeter, GPS, radio, or other operational equipment. **3\. Documentary Control** * Verify that each unit has valid SOAT, ownership card, technical inspections, and other required documents. * Maintain an updated record of document expiration dates and provide advance alerts. **4\. Operational Management** * Coordinate with drivers regarding scheduling of inspections and reviews. * Record photos, reports, and data for each unit in the company’s system. * Propose improvements to optimize vehicle control processes. * Supervise compliance with internal standards for presentation and operation. **Requirements** * Automotive technician, automotive mechanics, or related field (preferred). * Prior experience as inspector, mechanic, or similar role (preferably in transportation companies). * Knowledge of municipal regulations and technical requirements for taxis in Lima. * Basic proficiency with diagnostic tools and inspection forms. * Ability to work in the field and under tight schedules. * Communication skills and ability to interact effectively with drivers. **Key Competencies** * Attention to detail and organizational skills. * Honesty and integrity. * Technical analysis capability. * Focus on safety and compliance. * Teamwork and tolerance for working under pressure. **Position Conditions** * Work schedule: Full-time. * Workplace: Operational base in Lima, with field inspections as needed. * Work modality: On-site, with intra-city travel. * Availability for overtime in case of mechanical emergencies.
