Requirements: * Minimum 1 year of experience as a cook in restaurants, cafeterias, or other food service establishments. * Solid knowledge of cooking, food preparation, and preservation techniques. * Ability to work under pressure and in dynamic environments. * Flexible schedule (rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays). * Completed secondary education. * Preferred: Technical training in gastronomy or professional cooking. Specific Knowledge: * Current regulations on safe food handling. * Cooking techniques (stir-frying, baking, grilling, boiling, among others). * Portion control and final dish presentation. * Use of technical sheets and recipe standardization. * Organization and rotation of supplies (FIFO). * Efficient management of mise en place and production timing. Responsibilities: * Prepare dishes following restaurant recipes and standards. * Supervise and maintain the necessary mise en place for daily service. * Ensure the quality, flavor, and presentation of each dish. * Monitor the condition and preservation of ingredients and products. * Maintain cleanliness and order in the work area, adhering to safety and hygiene protocols. * Supervise and assist kitchen assistants as needed. * Comply with internal procedures and food safety regulations. * Participate in receiving, inspecting, and properly storing goods.
