Our **Machinery** team is seeking a **Level IV Mechanical Technician** to join Inchcape Peru. The purpose of this role is to execute corrective and preventive activities on Yellow Line machinery for external customers, efficiently utilizing assigned resources to improve profitability and customer service.
**Your Responsibilities**
* Evaluate, repair, and maintain customer machinery units requiring our services to ensure customer satisfaction
* Prepare evaluation and/or repair reports for equipment and machinery to accurately record availability and generate potential claims to the manufacturer
* Identify and request spare parts using the manufacturer's software/manual to ensure timely supply
* Conduct evaluation and/or diagnostic work on failures at Dercomaq businesses (engine, transmission, differential, hydraulic systems, hydrostatic systems, etc.) to ensure timely equipment intervention
* Execute and guarantee proper implementation of preventive maintenance on equipment to meet the respective manufacturer's recommended standards and maximize mechanical availability of serviced equipment
* Attend safety briefings and participate in self-paced online factory training courses
* Report hours worked to measure productivity
* Maintain and safeguard assigned resources and support overall safety and workplace order
**About You**
To succeed in this role, you must have:
* Completed technical education: Automotive Technician, Industrial Technician, Electrical Technician, Heavy Machinery Technician, or similar
* Minimum 3 years’ experience working with Yellow Line equipment; experience with heavy machinery brands and equipment is desirable
* Knowledge of preventive, corrective, and electrical maintenance for tractors and forklifts
* English proficiency – Basic level
* Valid A1 Driver’s License (mandatory)
* Willingness to work on-site (Northern Region)
