Strong communication skills at all levels Important: An established importing and trading company with 31 years in the market is seeking an Accounting Assistant. REQUIREMENTS: * Technical degree in Accounting * Minimum 2 years of experience in the commercial sector (preferred) * Proficiency in integrated accounting systems * Operational-level Excel proficiency * Strong communication skills at all levels. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Responsible for recording payment vouchers, applying the company’s internal policies. * Responsible for processing petty cash settlements for the company’s branches. * Responsible for requesting payment vouchers for deliveries to be reconciled during the month. * Responsible for recording payment vouchers for public utilities and billing for administrative services related to the company. * Provision entries: insurance, depreciation, payroll * Filing, organizing, and controlling accounting documentation. * Other duties assigned by management. SKILLS: Proactive, punctual, meticulous, and detail-oriented.
