Job Summary: CERTIMET, a calibration specialist company, is seeking a Laboratory Assistant to support the implementation, maintenance, and improvement of the Integrated Management System and calibration processes. Key Responsibilities: 1. Support the implementation and improvement of the Integrated Management System. 2. Collaborate in calibration and environmental condition verification processes. 3. Record activities and manage the inventory of reference standards. CERTIMET, a calibration specialist company, is seeking a LABORATORY ASSISTANT in San Luis. REQUIREMENTS: ⮚ Minimum 6 months of experience in similar positions. ⮚ Electronic, Mechatronic, or Physics Engineer or Technician, or related field. ⮚ Basic knowledge of quality standards applicable to laboratories (ISO/IEC 17025\). ⮚ Prior experience in calibration or metrology laboratories is desirable. ⮚ Proficiency in office tools (Excel, Word) and quality management systems. ⮚ Basic knowledge of metrology and measurement principles (desirable). ⮚ Ability to follow procedures and technical instructions. ⮚ Basic proficiency in data recording software and quality management systems. ⮚ Operation and handling of laboratory equipment. ⮚ Availability to work in SAN LUIS (behind Videna) from Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. RESPONSIBILITIES: ⮚ Comply with procedures established in the Integrated Management System. ⮚ Support the implementation, maintenance, and improvement of the Integrated Management System. ⮚ Support the identification of deviations in the management system or in procedures for conducting laboratory activities. ⮚ Support the implementation of actions to prevent or minimize identified deviations. ⮚ Report to the Technical Manager and Metrologist I on the performance of the management system and any improvement needs. ⮚ Ensure the effectiveness of laboratory activities. ⮚ Record OTICs for calibration and/or maintenance services in the laboratory's activity schedule. ⮚ Send customers' calibration certificates. ⮚ Send customers instrument receipt/shipment records. ⮚ Prepare equipment and instruments for calibration processes. ⮚ Support the execution of calibrations according to internal procedures and technical standards. ⮚ Manage the inventory of reference standards, materials, and consumables. ⮚ Verify compliance with environmental conditions required for calibrations. ⮚ Collaborate in preparing calibration certificates and reports. ⮚ Record and verify the receipt and shipment of reference standards, auxiliary equipment, and tools, among other assigned duties.
