In Peru, we operate across most economic sectors—including mining, agriculture, and fisheries—and form part of the value chain for their products and services. **Job Description** * Conduct inspections and sampling according to the Inspection Order, procedures, operational instructions, and SGS instructions under the supervision of the responsible person. * Keep the Lead Inspector, Coordinator, or Project Leader informed about the progress of the inspection. * Participate in the service opening and closing meetings. * Prepare inspection-specific documents, where applicable. * Report any non-conformities identified during the inspection to the Lead Inspector, Operations Coordinator, or Project Leader, so appropriate corrective actions can be implemented. * Ensure timely submission of operational expense and/or travel reports, as well as service deliverables, information synchronization, and other agreed-upon items from the opening and closing meetings, according to the scheduled deadlines. * Report monitoring equipment and vehicles assigned to an inspection order that require maintenance or calibration, and ensure all resources assigned to the service are returned in good condition. * Participate in 5-Minute Safety Talks. * Complete the Preliminary Risk Analysis (PRA) form before commencing work. * Submit a monthly report on unsafe acts and/or conditions via Intelex. **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree or Technical Diploma in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Fisheries, Biology, or related fields. * Minimum of 12 months’ experience conducting environmental monitoring. (Preferred) * Availability to work rotating shifts. * Willingness and ability to travel. * Valid driver’s license: Category A1 (held for at least 3 years) or Category A2b (held for at least 2 years), and ability to drive. * Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office. **Additional Information** * Mandatory Life Insurance * Continuous training * Corporate agreements * Career path
