Functions: * Plan and coordinate tasks with personnel involved in blasting. * Ensure adequate stock levels of Daveytronic products for the operation. * Carry out the blasting design process, programming, connection, checking, loading, and detonation. * Collect information on the blasting process and generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports regarding indicators, progress, anomalies, support for downstream post-blast results monitoring, and improvement opportunities. * Conduct training on products and their properties. * Ensure customer needs are met by addressing requirements and expectations. * Coordinate blasting activities with the customer and provide process reports. Requirements: * At least 2 years of experience in mining. * Preferably 1 year of experience with electronic initiation systems. * Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or related fields. * Desired knowledge: blasting processes * Use and properties of explosives and detonators * Blasting design software
