If you are enthusiastic, hardworking, and self-motivated, you will thoroughly enjoy this role and find it highly rewarding. **Duties and Responsibilities** **Finance and Accounting** (50%) * Implement and maintain an internal digital accounting system. * Collaborate with the accountant to prepare monthly and annual tax declarations for SUNAT. * Prepare monthly, quarterly, and/or annual financial reports. * Manage physical and digital filing and storage of all types of documentation. **Human Resources** (20%) * Assist with recruitment processes as required and keep job descriptions updated. * Manage employee onboarding and offboarding. * Coordinate payroll for employees, field staff, and contractors. * Maintain records of vacation days and overtime hours. **General Office Management** (30%) * Responsible for contracting services. * Manage procurement of office supplies and equipment. * Coordinate repairs of equipment (e.g., laptops, printers). * Perform other administrative tasks as needed. **Salary & Schedule** Competitive salary plus all health and labor benefits mandated by Peruvian law. This is a full-time position. You are expected to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, at our Cusco office during established business hours. A three-month probationary period with full salary is included to ensure you are the ideal candidate for the role. **Selection Criteria** We seek someone passionate about administration and accounting who wishes to settle in Cusco. Candidates must hold legal residency in Peru or be willing to obtain it. **Essential** * Formal education in administration, accounting, or related fields. * 5–10 years of experience. * Experience with digital accounting systems (CONCAR, SISCONT, Xero, QuickBooks, or similar) and ability to configure such systems from scratch. * Proactive individual who works well independently but also follows instructions effectively. * Strong initiative, problem-solving skills, and excellent organizational abilities. * Good interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to work collaboratively in teams. * Ability to develop budgets, analyze financial reports, and create revenue projections. * Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office suite and internet), strong information management capabilities, and proficiency in online communication. * Reliability and outstanding organizational skills, with keen attention to detail and ability to complete projects. **Desirable** * Professional experience in the tourism industry. * Passion for sustainable tourism. * Friendly and professional attitude. * Good command of English. * Good command of Quechua. **How to Apply** Interested candidates must submit their application via email to **reservas@apus-peru.com**, with the subject line "**Financial Administration Specialist**".
