We are looking for an experienced, dynamic Chef with exceptional seasoning skills to join our family. **Main Responsibilities** The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring excellence in every preparation, performing the following tasks: * Full mise en place: Perform cleaning, cutting, and portioning of fish and shellfish, ensuring maximum utilization of ingredients. * Preparation of cold dishes: Prepare ceviches, tiraditos, causas, and tiger’s milk following the restaurant’s standard recipes while maintaining flavor consistency. * Management of hot dishes: Assist in preparing rice dishes, chicharrones, parihuelas, and other seafood dishes as required by demand. * Freshness control: Rigorously monitor daily ingredient quality, reporting any anomalies in product condition. * Maintenance of hygiene standards: Strictly comply with food safety regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Keep the work area clean and organized under the FIFO rotation system. * Time optimization: Ensure orders are completed within the established timeframe, maintaining composure and efficiency during peak hours. * Inventory management: Collaborate on stock counts and preparation of the next day’s ingredient order list. **Requirements**: * Minimum 3 years of experience in cevicherías or seafood restaurants. * Technical degree in Gastronomy or Culinary Arts. * Knowledge of GMP and/or food safety. * Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team. **What We Offer**: * Formal employment (MYPE / Statutory benefits) * Company-provided lunch. * Schedule: 8am–5pm, midweek break from Monday to Thursday. * Competitive salary based on experience. * Excellent work environment and growth opportunities.
