We are currently seeking a telecommunications, electronics, or systems technician. Requirements: * 1 year of experience in external and internal plant technician roles. * 1 year of experience in fault identification and resolution. * Experience executing microwave link projects. * Basic IT knowledge. * Proficiency in using telecommunications measurement equipment and tools. * Knowledge of telecommunications regulations and standardization. * Knowledge of server, switch, router, DWDM, and CWDM configuration. * Knowledge of energizing telecommunications equipment. * Proficiency in structured cabling and optical fiber. The mission of this position is to provide installation, maintenance, and fault resolution services for the company’s internal and external plant, ensuring the proper operation of telecommunications equipment. Responsibilities: * Install and configure servers providing services to the company. * Install equipment in RACKs. * Perform structured cabling at the company’s nodes. * Carry out customer port upgrades. * Identify and resolve faults together with the network engineer. * Perform measurements using OTDR and IOLM equipment on the company’s existing links. * Assemble ODF equipment for node installation. * Identify and label equipment and ports at nodes. * Document work orders, including images to guide technicians in resolving future faults. * Request logical verification of completed work.
