Implement mechanisms to detect and mitigate bias, and promote algorithmic decision explainability. * Lead integration of AI capabilities into the banking ecosystem: Spearhead deployment of intelligent assistants in the Bank’s operational processes, ensuring efficient integration with core systems, digital channels, and data platforms. Continuously evaluate their impact on customer experience and operational efficiency optimization. * Evaluate and adopt emerging AI technologies: Conduct ongoing monitoring of the generative AI ecosystem to identify tools, frameworks, and models with high potential. * Lead proof-of-concept initiatives and comparative analyses to select the most suitable solutions that drive innovation and deliver business value. * Provide mentorship to team members: Act as a technical and strategic reference within the team, guiding the professional development of emerging talent. Share best practices, review deliverables, and foster continuous learning in GenAI and MLOps topics. * Promote a culture of responsible innovation and regulatory compliance: Drive initiatives that foster technological innovation within an ethical and regulatory framework. Ensure developed solutions comply with the Bank’s internal policies and applicable regulations (SBS, ISO/IEC 27001, among others). * Develop and implement Generative AI solutions tailored to the business: Lead the use of advanced techniques such as fine-tuning, RAG, and other strategies to train generative models responsive to specific banking contexts. Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with industry standards, continuously supervising their performance, accuracy, and robustness. * Participate in cross-functional teams within Smart Automation: Actively collaborate with product, design, engineering, data, and business teams to co-create solutions delivering tangible value. Contribute technical expertise across all project lifecycle stages. * Ensure GenAI solution adoption and development through agile frameworks: Lead GenAI solution implementation using agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.), promoting iterative development, validation, and continuous improvement cycles. Facilitate end-user adoption through communication and training strategies. * Understand and apply the Bank’s risk culture in daily decisions: Integrate risk management as a fundamental component of GenAI solution design and implementation. Assess the potential impact of each initiative in terms of operational, reputational, regulatory, and conduct risk. * Actively perform effective and efficient operations within respective areas while ensuring the suitability, compliance, and effectiveness of daily business controls to meet obligations aimed at reducing operational risk, regulatory non-compliance risk, money laundering and terrorist financing risk, and conduct risk—including responsibilities established under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, International Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorist Financing Manual, and Business Conduct Guidelines.
