This position reports to: Field Service Team Leader In this role, you will have the opportunity to carry out low-to-medium complexity service tasks in accordance with work instructions and in compliance with ABB’s standard processes, quality standards, and safety regulations. Each day, you will plan and execute work with a “right-first-time” focus for customers. You will also demonstrate your expertise by showing a clear understanding of urgency and commitment within your area of responsibility. **Work model for this position:** On-site This role contributes to the *Motion* business area in Peru. **Your key responsibilities will include:** * Collaborating with customers (on-site) to identify opportunities for improving their operations and eliminating pain points. * Performing field service tasks, identifying technical issues, and conducting remote or on-site analyses across various service categories and products. * Preparing bills of materials required for service activities and ensuring all materials, spare parts, and equipment are available and meet appropriate quality standards. * Resolving equipment or process failures, proactively requesting corrective actions, and recommending measures to prevent recurrence. **Team Dynamics** You will join a dynamic, talented, and committed team where you can develop and grow. **Requirements for this position** * Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or Electronics Engineering. * Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Field Service Engineer or Service Engineer. * Solid knowledge and hands-on experience working with variable speed drives and motors. * Advanced knowledge of the power electronics market and medium-voltage equipment. * Passion for problem-solving and teamwork. * Intermediate level of English. * Willingness to travel.
