Our broad portfolio of high-quality, differentiated-brand generic medicines spans multiple therapeutic areas, including gastroenterology, women's health, cardiometabolism, pain management / central nervous system, and respiratory pathways. As an **Inspective Control Technician**, you will be responsible for verifying GMP compliance across all mini-plants and correctly performing sampling (both bulk and finished product), in-process controls, and inspections of bulk materials and finished products. Analyze and verify compliance with in-process and finished product control specifications. **What You'll Do:** * Follow the sampling and inspection matrix for production processes. Adhere to procedures and instructions from departments related to production processes. * Verify that personnel involved in production processes comply with procedures and instructions. * Verify that equipment and instruments used for in-process controls are within their maintenance and/or calibration due dates. Maintain daily records of performed tasks. * Properly handle, store, archive, and maintain confidentiality of documentation. * Support achievement of departmental objectives established by the Quality Assurance Coordinator. Comply with area-specific and general occupational safety and health standards. * Enter data and information associated with Periodic Product Review. * Continuously update the status of documentation corresponding to each batch in the Release and Quarantine database. * Generate and maintain an up-to-date electronic inventory of technical envelopes for released products for archiving. * Manage and verify all documentation generated for sending technical envelopes to the IRON MOUNTAIN archive. * Manage documentation for borrowing and returning technical envelopes. * Perform other activities assigned by the Quality Assurance Coordinator. **Required Qualifications** * **EDUCATION:** Technical training in pharmacy or a related field. * Minimum 2 years of experience in analyzing in-process products and/or packaging materials and/or inspective control. * Knowledge of sampling techniques and plans for bulk materials and finished products. * Knowledge of applicable United States Pharmacopeia (USP) General Chapters and other compendial methods used in pharmaceutical quality control (e.g., average weight, fill volume, viscosity, pH, etc.). * Availability to work in Lince on rotating shifts. **Apply Now** Follow your professional aspirations with Abbott to access diverse opportunities with a company that can help you build your future and live your best life.
