Job Summary: Mechanical maintenance technician with experience in industrial plants, responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance, fault diagnosis, and safety compliance. Key Responsibilities: 1. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment. 2. Diagnose mechanical failures and propose effective solutions. 3. Collaborate with other maintenance teams to resolve issues. **REQUIREMENTS:** * Technical degree in Industrial Mechanics, Maintenance Mechanics, or related field * Minimum 1 year of experience in mechanical maintenance in industrial plants and hydrocarbons * Experience operating power tools: grinders, angle grinders, die grinders * Knowledge of equipment repair * Knowledge of basic welding and metal cutting (bracing) * Familiarity with safety standards and safety documentation completion **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment, pumps, compressors, valves, pipelines, and other industrial systems. * Diagnose mechanical failures and propose effective solutions. * Carry out alignment of rotating equipment and mechanical adjustments in power transmission systems. * Conduct periodic inspections to assess the condition of mechanical equipment and report deviations. * Support assembly, disassembly, and replacement of mechanical and structural components. * Operate manual and electric tools used in mechanical maintenance. * Apply lubrication and equipment alignment techniques to optimize performance. * Comply with safety protocols for work at height, confined spaces, and handling hazardous substances. * Record performed activities and used spare parts in the appropriate forms. * Collaborate with other maintenance teams (electrical, instrumentation, painting, etc.) to resolve operational issues. **COMPETENCIES:** * Mechanical problem-solving * Teamwork and effective communication * Commitment to safety and quality * Attention to detail and analytical ability Employment Type: Full-time Salary: S/.2,000.00 - S/.2,200.00 per month Application Question(s): * Are you from the CALLAO area?
