On behalf of our client in the southern region, we are seeking a Chemical Laboratory Supervisor. **Job Description** * Effectively manage laboratory operations and maintenance in accordance with client requirements. * Define objectives and strategies for laboratory operations and maintenance, ensuring alignment with client objectives. * Ensure compliance with the laboratory quality management system across all processes, meeting the requirements of standard NTP‐ISO/IEC 17025\. * Manage human resources within the area, ensuring technical competence through continuous training and development plans. * Establish safety, environmental and quality guidelines governing operations. * Allocate necessary resources to meet operational, training, development and continuous improvement needs of the Quality Control area. * Coordinate and ensure implementation of predictive, preventive and corrective maintenance programs for laboratory equipment. **Requirements** * Degree holder, duly registered and licensed in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Metallurgical Engineering. * Minimum 5 years’ experience in laboratory managerial leadership. * Over 4 years’ experience in sampling processes. * Experience in managing laboratory equipment operations and maintenance. * Intermediate English. * Knowledge of regulations: ISO 17025; ISO 12743; ISO 10251; ISO 11794\. * Knowledge of laboratory data management systems. * Knowledge of current mining legislation. * Availability to work under an 8x8 shift regime. **Additional Information** * Formal employment contract from day one. * Statutory life insurance. * Corporate agreements.
