Professional development and participation in technological projects Pre-Sales / Commercial Engineer – Audiovisual and Technological Solutions Company: Check Point Advertainment Department: Commercial / Technical Pre-Sales Work Mode: On-site / Field Location: Lima, Peru Job Objective We seek a Pre-Sales / Commercial Engineer with experience in audiovisual technological solutions, capable of understanding client needs, gathering technical requirements, designing solution proposals, and supporting the commercial team in project negotiation and closing. This profile must be able to advise corporate clients, system integrators, institutions, and enterprises on solutions such as control rooms, meeting rooms, hybrid classrooms, boardrooms, auditoriums, SUM (multi-purpose spaces), video walls, LED displays, videoconferencing systems, automation, professional audio, and digital signage. We are not looking for someone who simply sells equipment. We seek a professional who understands the client’s problem, proposes a viable solution, and can defend it both technically and commercially. Main Responsibilities Conduct on-site technical assessments to identify client needs. Design solution proposals for technological spaces such as meeting rooms, auditoriums, boardrooms, hybrid classrooms, SUM (multi-purpose spaces), and control rooms. Accompany the commercial team in client meetings, providing technical justification for proposed solutions. Prepare solution architectures, basic diagrams, comparative tables, and technical scopes. Coordinate with engineering, operations, and suppliers to validate the technical feasibility of each project. Draft technical requirements for quotations, commercial proposals, and tenders. Explain to clients the functionality, benefits, and scope of each solution. Support commercial negotiations, defending the value of the solution beyond price. Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations when required. Identify opportunities for improvement or expansion within existing accounts. Stay updated on AV technologies, videoconferencing, control systems, automation, LED displays, video walls, audio, and management software. Support review of technical specifications, Terms of Reference (TDR), and requirements from public or private clients. Solutions to Know or Learn Quickly Control rooms and monitoring centers. Additional Preferences Experience with brands or technologies such as LED displays, video walls, video processors, audio systems, videoconferencing, control rooms, digital signage, or automation. Experience serving corporate clients, public entities, or AV integrators. Knowledge of tenders, technical files, or Terms of Reference (TDR). Technical English for reviewing datasheets, manuals, and communicating with vendors. Experience delivering demos or commercial presentations.
