We seek a Senior DevOps Engineer with a proven track record of +4 years in automation and infrastructure management. You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) solutions, ensuring the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of our platforms. Solid hands-on experience is required both in Java and Maven development, and in operating on-premise Kubernetes clusters and advanced monitoring tools. Required Experience **Background:** Minimum 4 years of proven experience as a DevOps Engineer. **Development:** +4 years of experience developing automations and tools using Java, including Maven usage. +2 years of experience developing in JavaScript, with NPM usage. +2 years of experience developing on AWS. **Infrastructure as Code (IaC):** Advanced hands-on experience in infrastructure automation. **Orchestration:** Direct experience with on-premise Kubernetes, including cluster management and application deployments. **CI/CD:** Practical experience implementing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, automating integrations and deployments. **Versatility:** Experience working on both Infrastructure and Development (Java) sides. 2\. Desired Technical Knowledge **Version Control and GitOps:** Advanced proficiency in GitLab and GitLab Runner. Experience with ArgoCD for secure deployments. **Infrastructure as Code (IaC):** Proficiency with tools such as Terraform or Ansible. **Monitoring and Observability:** Hands-on experience with Prometheus, Grafana, and logging solutions such as ELK / OpenSearch. **Containerization:** Solid knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes. **API Management:** Configuration, deployment, and management of API Gateways (CodePipeline, CodeArtifact, CodeBuild). **Cloud/Virtualization:** Knowledge of AWS (S3, IAM, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway) or Virtualization (VMware, VirtualBox). 3\. Education and Certifications **Academic Degree:** Technical diploma, Bachelor’s degree, or University degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related fields. **Certifications (Desirable):** Certifications such as CKA, Docker Certified Associate, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or HashiCorp Terraform Associate will be valued. **Main Responsibilities:** **CI/CD:** Design, implement, and maintain efficient and secure CI/CD pipelines. **K8s Administration:** Manage and optimize on-premise Kubernetes environments. **Tool Development:** Develop support automations and tools using Java. **Infrastructure Management:** Manage and maintain infrastructure using IaC. **Observability:** Monitor system health using monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK). **Collaboration:** Work closely with development and infrastructure teams to ensure reliable deployments. **Best Practices:** Implement and promote GitOps and security best practices across processes.
