It is part of an international group with extensive experience in turnkey construction of industrial and logistics buildings, refrigerated warehouses and temperature-controlled facilities. **POSITION** We are seeking to incorporate into our team a Studies Engineer responsible for preparing technical proposals covering the scope considered in the budget. Experience in industrial construction and field experience will be positively valued. **RESPONSIBILITIES** * Review of tender documents, complete project file and terms of reference for budget preparation. * Development of cost structure by specialty, according to level of information available. * Quotation of specialties and materials as components of each project. * Preparation of quantity take-offs by specialty (Structures, Architecture, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering). * Preparation of unit cost analyses for each item according to client requirements. * Preparation of baseline schedule for execution of each project. * Preparation of construction schedule based on tender documents. * Management of supplier portfolio for specialties and materials. PROFILE * Bachelor’s degree or graduate in Civil Engineering (preferred). * Experience in quantity take-offs and cost estimation. * Experience reading civil engineering, structural steel and specialty drawings. * Experience using **current software such as Revit, BIM methodology, and budgeting software.** EXPERIENCE * Specialty in Civil Engineering or related field. * Minimum 3 years’ experience in technical offices or on-site. * Minimum 3 years’ experience preparing budgets in the construction sector (supplier portfolio management, unit price analysis, etc.).
