




Position Summary: We are seeking a consulting professional with project management experience to develop and validate budgets, conduct price analysis, quantity take-offs, and valuations, supporting public entities and coordinating with specialists. The Project: You will be responsible for developing and validating budgets for pre-investment studies and technical files. This role will prepare unit price analyses, quantity take-offs, and valuations, ensuring costs are realistic, competitive, and aligned with market conditions and current regulations. You will also support public entities in budget formulation for effective project management. Close coordination with the project’s technical specialists will be required. These are: * Safety First \- Go home safe and well * Client Focus \- Deliver on our promise * Integrity \- Always do the right thing * Create Opportunity \- So our people can excel Your responsibilities will include: * Conducting feasibility studies, advising on procurement strategies and contract selection, and preparing procurement reports. * Applying value management techniques from the outset of the project. * Managing cost estimation and cost planning activities, including preparation and presentation of the final cost plan. * Collaborating on the procurement and selection of the main contractor. * Preparing contractual documents, guarantees, bonds, and licenses, supporting involved parties in their proper formalization. * Advising on administration of construction contract terms. * Measuring and providing valuations of work completed, adjusting variations in accordance with contractual terms and contractor consent. * Providing cost control services and preparing reports throughout the contract duration. * Preparing financial reports for the client in the required format and frequency. * Identifying all costs associated with design changes, contract awards, construction activities, and client expenses. * Participating in the assessment of claims for delays and additional costs submitted by contractors and nominated subcontractors/suppliers. * Advising on issuance of practical completion certificates, ensuring negotiation and agreement of final accounts. * Advising on issuance of defect rectification and final completion certificates, in line with project close-out requirements. * Driving improvements in systems and processes, contributing to operational transformation. * Providing guidance and direction to the assistant cost consultant and junior team members. * Delivering informal mentoring and training to junior team members, promoting continuous process improvement. * Developing effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You will need: * A professional with at least 5 years of experience. * A graduate in Civil Engineering, Economic Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related disciplines; duly registered and licensed. * Experience in budget preparation and cost analysis for investment projects, having participated in at least 8 projects (* S/ 10MM each), including a minimum of 3 projects exceeding S/ 40MM. * Civil construction regime, Monday to Saturday.
