At **COPPERFIELD**, we are seeking a professional to fill the position of Metallurgical Process Engineer at our Polymetallic Mineral Processing Plant located in Paramonga \- Barranca. **Requirements:** * Degree and/or Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related fields. * Specialized courses in Geometallurgy and/or Mineral Processing. * Minimum 3 years of experience in engineering consulting sector; experience in metallurgical operations is desirable. * Specific experience in process design for expansion projects, as well as base metal concentrator plants and precious metal leaching facilities. * Software: Intermediate MS Office, AutoCAD and Limn. * Willingness to work under a 14x7 schedule in Paramonga \- Barranca. **Responsibilities:** * Monitor and optimize the overall metallurgical performance of the concentrator plant (crushing, grinding, flotation, thickening and filtration), ensuring achievement of recovery targets, grade specifications and concentrate quality. * Carry out process control activities, research and development for projects related to plant process improvement and optimization. * Conduct sampling at various designated points across the Concentrator Plant; samples are used for metallurgical accounting in primary and secondary crushing, grinding, flotation, classification, filtration, thickening and tailings handling circuits. * Analyze daily, weekly and monthly metallurgical balances, identifying deviations in grades, recoveries and tonnages, and proposing technically sound corrective actions. * Design, execute and evaluate industrial-scale and laboratory-scale metallurgical tests to optimize operational variables, reagent dosing and circuit configurations. * Implement technical and operational improvements through statistical analysis, benchmarking and economic evaluation, leading continuous improvement and process sustainability initiatives. * Supervise metallurgical sampling, validate laboratory results and assess performance of critical equipment, coordinating actions with operations, maintenance and laboratory teams. **Benefits:** * 100% coverage of accommodation and meals. * Transportation to the city of Barranca. * Statutory benefits.
