Pesquera Centinela, a company in the food and marine ingredients sector, is seeking the best talent to fill the position of: **FLEET MONITORING INTERN** Requirements: * Graduate in Fisheries Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, or related fields * Knowledge of SURFER, R, Python and/or Satellite Systems (CLS, Megatrack) is desirable * Certification in Power BI and/or SAP is desirable Responsibilities: * Coordinate with radio stations, bays, department heads, and management to ensure compliance with the fishing fleet’s operational plan. * Monitor and report on vessel status, fishing zones, sea conditions, ports, fish distribution, accidents, illnesses, and unloading projections. * Coordinate with external entities (PRODUCE, SNP, and IMARPE) regarding fishing operations. * Analyze and model fisheries and oceanographic data to produce reports, maps, and projections. * Support the preparation of oceanographic parameter reports (SST, salinity, IOS, chlorophyll, ocean currents). * Develop monitoring dashboards to support decision-making during the fishing season. **Benefits:** * Paid internships * Internship agreement * FOLA insurance * Hybrid work schedule Join our team and grow with us!
