This shift toward clean energy—and the need for raw materials—is fundamental to sustaining the energy transition. At Bechtel, our teams extract these vital resources to support net-zero emissions in a more sustainable way than ever before. **Position Summary:** ----------------------- The Professional Practice Program offers a general overview and training in Accounting and Finance. Program duration is 6 months, beginning in May 2026\. **Key Responsibilities:** ---------------------------------- * Collect, organize, and digitize accounting and tax documentation required by SUNAT (electronic books, vouchers, monthly and annual tax returns, among others), within the framework of tax inspection and audit processes. * Verify consistency between accounting records and filed tax reports. * Support review of monthly tax obligations (IGV, Income Tax, Withholdings, among others). * Prepare reports on electronic invoices issued by suppliers pending SUNAT approval and Oracle registration. * Validate that accounting transactions are correctly recorded per the Peruvian General Chart of Accounts (PCGE) and current SUNAT regulations. * Participate in account reconciliations—including tax accounts, accounts payable, fixed assets, among others. * Record accounting entries in the Oracle system. **Requirements: Education and Experience:** ---------------------------------------- * Graduate of Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Economics from an accredited university. * Must be a recent graduate and reside in Lima. * Availability to complete the professional practice for at least 6 months. * Knowledge of Peruvian tax regulations. **Required Knowledge and Skills:** ------------------------------------------- * Responsible with strong communication skills. * Collaborative, able to work effectively in teams. * Problem-solving ability. * Intermediate English proficiency preferred but not mandatory. * Intermediate\-advanced Microsoft Office. * Intermediate\-advanced Power BI. **Benefits:** --------------- For decades, Bechtel has worked to inspire the next generation of engineers—and beyond!
