SMETAL GROUP (metal-mechanical company) is looking for a Professional Intern in SSOMA. **REQUIREMENTS:** \- Graduate or Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety Engineering, or related fields. \- Desirable: 6 months of experience in similar roles as a Pre-professional Intern or SSOMA Assistant in metal-mechanical companies (preferred). **RESPONSIBILITIES:** Assist in the execution and monitoring of activities outlined in the Annual SSOMA Plan and Program. Participate, under supervision, in scheduled safety inspections at facilities, maintenance areas, and buses to become familiar with on-site risk identification. Identify and report unsafe acts and conditions in the field. Support the follow-up process for closing observations generated during inspections and audits. Assist in developing JSA (Job Safety Analysis) and system management documentation. Conduct safety inspections and prepare safety reports. Prepare safety and environmental statistics.
