Job Summary: This role involves assessing, repairing, and maintaining complex electrical and mechanical systems in heavy equipment, preparing technical reports, and ensuring safety compliance. Ensures compliance with safety regulations and incident reporting. SENIOR SERVICE TECHNICIAN \- MECHANICAL TECHNICIANS Specific Job Responsibilities: * Assess the most complex electrical systems of assigned low-profile equipment. * Repair, condition, commission, or replace highly complex electrical components such as control panels or electrical circuits, among others. * Perform repairs and replacement of major equipment components, including engines, gearboxes, converters, cylinders, axles, etc. * Prepare technical reports on equipment condition to schedule future repairs. * Coordinate with EHS or supervisor to obtain permits required for assigned high-risk work (PETS, PETAR, etc.). * Accurately record entry time, exit time, and break times. * Effectively utilize contractual resources (PPE, assets, consumables, assigned tools, instruments, etc.). * Actively participate in EHS, health, and wellness prevention and promotion activities promoted by the company and the client. * Comply with the Safety, Health and Environment Plan applicable to the worksite. * Immediately report any incident, accident, unsafe act or condition observed, and cooperate in the timely investigation and reporting of the event for dissemination. * Comply with Life-Saving Rules, policies, procedures, regulations, and objectives of the EHS health and wellness management system, and the company’s or client’s Internal Vehicle Use Regulations. Requirements: * Graduate in Mechanical Engineering and/or Electrical Engineering, with specialization in heavy machinery maintenance, maintenance mechanics, production mechanics, or Industrial Engineering. * Minimum 3 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance activities within Surface Mining Units or UGM, or similar segments served. * Minimum 2 years of experience working with low-profile equipment. * Experience in defensive driving and possession of A2B driver’s license, with at least 2 years of prior experience.
