




Position Summary: ACCIONA is seeking a Social Manager for a Transmission Line Project in Cusco, responsible for social management, community engagement, and conflict resolution. This subfunction is responsible for all activities related to occupational safety and health. Its responsibilities include: identifying and assessing risks of accidents and occupational diseases; controlling hazards in the work environment or means of work; delivering occupational risk prevention training and promoting awareness of such prevention; recording and analyzing information; and providing advisory and technical support to company employees. **Candidate Requirements** ACCIONA, within its INDUSTRIAL business, requires hiring a Social Manager for the launch and contractual execution of its new Transmission Line and Associated Substation Project located in Sicuani, Cusco. **Responsibilities:** * Implement the Social Management Plan and other approved socio-environmental instruments for the project during the construction phase. * Plan and coordinate informational meetings, workshops, and citizen participation activities aimed at timely communication of project progress to local communities. * Lead social management, negotiation, and conflict resolution to ensure smooth project execution. * Manage relationships with local authorities, communities, and other key stakeholders identified in the Area of Influence Diagram (AID). * Execute social communication plans and strategies before, during, and after construction works. * Prepare and disseminate informational materials (notices, press releases, bulletins, fact sheets). * Administer and maintain updated communication mechanisms and records of interactions with social stakeholders. * Manage the project’s Query, Complaint, and Claim Handling Mechanism. * Identify and documentarily track progress of the social component, flagging potential risks and proposing mitigation actions. * Participate in internal coordination, planning, and project monitoring meetings. * Promote good neighborliness and coexistence in intervention zones. * Raise awareness among social stakeholders and staff regarding the project’s sustainability measures and environmental commitments. * Conduct capacity-building activities on social and land-related topics for company personnel and/or subcontractors. * Perform other duties inherent to the position, aligned with project objectives. **Academic Qualifications:** * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Law, Sociology, or related fields. **Experience** * Minimum 3 years’ experience in social and land management for transmission line projects (mandatory requirement). * Experience in community engagement and management of social conflicts. * Preferable experience working with peasant or indigenous communities (depending on the project’s area of influence). **Languages and Proficiency Level** * Quechua (basic level) \- desirable **Additional Knowledge** * Intermediate-level proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. * Ability to read KMZ files.
