SSOMA Engineer

At SEÑALIZACIÓN GIROD PERÚ, a world-leading company in the road safety and signage sector, dedicated to manufacturing and project execution, we are seeking an SSOMA Engineer with the following profile: **ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:** * A qualified, licensed, and registered professional in Industrial Hygiene and Safety Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, and/or related fields. * **Minimum 3 years’ verifiable experience managing the SSOMA area.** * **Mandatory experience in the construction and/or road safety sector.** * Certification in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Management specialization. * Solid knowledge of Safety Legislation, Occupational Health, Environment, OHS Management Systems (SGSST), and Quality Management. * Knowledge of occupational safety and health regulations. * Intermediate–Advanced Excel proficiency \- MANDATORY **FUNCTIONS:** * Coordinate, manage, plan, monitor, and control the project. * Develop the Annual Occupational Health and Safety Plan. * Supervise compliance with safety policies, standards, procedures, regulations, and other safety norms. * Verify that workplaces meet appropriate safety conditions. * Plan, execute, and participate in trainings, inductions, drills, and simulations included in Occupational Health and Safety Programs. * Execute Occupational Health and Safety inductions. * Prepare safety reports and conduct preliminary investigations of workplace accidents. * Establish and verify implementation of operational controls such as: Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, Control Measures, Written Permits for High-Risk Work, Written Safe Work Procedures, Planned Job Observations, Checklists, etc. * Exceptional attention to detail and continuous focus on safety. * Identify and assess conditions causing occupational accidents and diseases to determine hazard levels of risks. * Read and interpret technical documents such as safety standards, operational instructions, maintenance guidelines, assembly specifications, and procedural manuals. * Plan project development in the safety area, including resources, materials, facilities, and equipment. * Manage administrative matters with the client, documenting any issues and/or changes arising during project development affecting personnel safety. * Prepare the project dossier. **BENEFITS:** * Market-competitive remuneration, subject to evaluation. * Full payroll registration from day one. * All statutory benefits at 100%. * SCTR. * Life insurance under Law. **IMPORTANT:** Immediate availability required.
