Position Summary: We are seeking a Pre-Professional Intern in Civil Works to gain practical experience while supporting the development of calculation memoranda, specifications, reports, and drawings. As leaders in innovation and technological development, we seek experts who can drive sustainable development and deliver solutions to the world’s greatest challenges—such as global warming, overpopulation, and water scarcity.** **Position Description** ACCIONA, within its INDUSTRIAL business unit, is seeking a Pre-Professional Intern for the Engineering area (Civil Works): **Mission:** The Civil Works Intern is responsible for acquiring knowledge and practical experience in a professional setting, supporting assistant, design, and specialist engineers in developing calculation memoranda, technical specifications, reports, drawings, and quantity takeoffs—ensuring optimal compliance with Project guidelines and Company standards. **Candidate Requirements** **Responsibilities:** * Support the preparation of civil works design criteria and technical specifications for SSEE, aligned with Company standards and current regulatory requirements. * Support the preparation of civil works calculation memoranda for SSEE. * Prepare detailed drawings for civil works of SSEE. * Perform quantity takeoffs for civil works of SSEE. * Carry out other responsibilities assigned, inherent to the position. **Profile:** =========== **Academic Background:** * Final-year student in Civil Engineering (5th year or higher). **Years of Required Experience:** * Pre-professional internships (desirable). **Tools and Software:** * AutoCAD – Advanced level (mandatory) * SAP2000 – Intermediate level * SAFE – Intermediate level * ETABS – Intermediate level * Microsoft Office Suite – Intermediate/Advanced level (mandatory) * Google Earth * Python programming language **Languages and Required Proficiency:** * English – Intermediate level (desirable). **Other Knowledge Areas:** * Seismic-resistant design * Reinforced concrete * Soil mechanics * Roads / transportation infrastructure * Sanitary installations * Quantity takeoffs **Willingness to Travel** – Yes (occasional) ACCIONA has received the Top Employer 2024 and 2025 certification.
