Production Coordinator

Position Summary: We are seeking a Production Coordinator to supervise and coordinate extrusion, printing, laminating, cutting, sealing, and pelletizing operations in the plastic industry. Key Highlights: 1. Leads and supervises plastic production processes. 2. Manages personnel and plans activities. 3. Ensures compliance with quality and safety standards. We are looking for a **PRODUCTION COORDINATOR**: EDUCATION: Industrial Engineer and/or related field TRAINING: Knowledge of programming. Personnel management skills. Intermediate or advanced computer proficiency. Knowledge of occupational safety and health. EXPERIENCE: Minimum three (01 to 03\) years of verifiable experience as a COORDINATOR in similar plastic industries within foundry companies. FUNCTIONS: · Supervise and coordinate § EXTRUSION OPERATOR. § PRINTING OPERATOR. § LAMINATING OPERATOR. § CUTTING AND TRIMMING OPERATOR. § SEALING OPERATOR. § PELLETIZING OPERATOR. ASSEMBLY ASSISTANT. · Verify and receive the production sheet. · Develop color standards. · Request materials from the warehouse supervisor for production intake. · Execute and monitor production orders within the established timeframe; notify the Production Planning and Control Manager if production cannot be completed on time. · Plan and assign daily work activities to staff according to the daily production schedule, or for emergency productions. · Supervise the use and availability of properly functioning machinery, ensuring plant personnel perform assigned tasks. · Report non-operational machinery to Maintenance and verify equipment/machinery functionality after maintenance. · Approve colors meeting customer requirements. · Analyze production sheet closure. · Identify non-conforming products during processing. Request tools, materials, and other production resources from the Production Planning and Control Manager. · Prepare prepress work orders in coordination with the Production Planning and Control Manager for required resources to develop new artwork (cliché planning, color separation, and color proofing) requested by the customer. · Prepare and analyze process indicator performance against objectives of the management system. · Schedule, conduct, and evaluate production training sessions and report compliance to Human Resources. · Hold monthly meetings with Production Planning and Control and Quality Assurance and Control Manager. · Call personnel for scheduled work on Sundays and holidays. · Verify and report workplace order and cleanliness, including personnel. · Deliver material balances to the Production Supervisor. · Verify production operators' fulfillment of assigned duties. · Fulfill duties assigned by the immediate supervisor. · Comply with the Quality Management System policy and standards based on ISO 9001. · Identify hazards and risks applicable to the work area, as well as environmental aspects and impacts. · Maintain appropriate communication channels to ensure continuous and timely information regarding acts or conditions affecting quality, safety and occupational health, environment, social responsibility, and anti-corruption. · Identify hazards and risks applicable to the work area, as well as environmental aspects and impacts.
