PRODUCTION OPERATOR

Job Summary: This position is responsible for receiving, inspecting, preparing, and packaging food products while maintaining high standards of quality and hygiene. Key Highlights: 1. Food handling and preparation with emphasis on quality and freshness. 2. Knife and food-cutting utensil handling for cutting and portioning food. 3. Dynamic work environment focused on order and speed. **Main Responsibilities:** * Receive and inspect goods and supplies. * Verify the **quality, freshness, weight, quantity, and condition** of received products. * Select, wash, disinfect, and prepare fruits and vegetables. * **Cut, chop, peel, and portion food** according to production instructions. * Prepare and package products for display and sale. * Shrink-wrap, bag, seal, and **label products correctly**. * Apply production dates, expiration dates, and other required information. * Ensure packaged products meet presentation and quality standards. * Organize finished products and store them properly, including timely entry into the **refrigerated chamber**, as applicable. * Keep the production area, utensils, and equipment clean and organized. * Comply with procedures for **food hygiene, handling, and preservation**. * Conduct inventory checks and report shortages, damaged items, or items nearing expiration. * Maintain a **fast and consistent work pace**, especially during opening hours. * Prioritize tasks based on urgency and product type. * Support various operational activities as required by the department. Profile Requirements * **Recommended age: 25 to 35 years.** * Experience in food production, cooking, convenience stores, supermarkets, restaurants, or similar roles. * Experience in **food handling and preparation**. * Ability to properly use knives and utensils for **food cutting and preparation**. * Desired experience cutting fruits, vegetables, and other foods. * A **highly organized, quick, and methodical** individual. * Ability to multitask and prioritize activities. * Attention to detail to avoid errors in labeling, quantities, and dates. * Good physical condition for operational work and standing throughout the shift. * Responsibility, punctuality, and commitment. * Ability to work in a team. * Initiative and willingness to learn. * Availability to work opening shifts and as needed by the convenience store.
