Operation of hand tools and assigned equipment We are a specialized metal-mechanical company currently looking for a **lathe assistant** committed to performing operational tasks in welding or pipe restoration. **Main Responsibilities** * Provide support in lathe area operations. * Prepare materials and tools for machining tasks. * Perform surface finishing and paint application as required. * Use hand tools and assigned equipment correctly. * Maintain order and cleanliness in the work area. * Comply with safety procedures and support other duties assigned by the supervisor. **Requirements** * Completed secondary education or related technical studies (preferred). * Experience as a lathe assistant, in production, or in metal-mechanical fields. * Knowledge of reading and handling measurements in millimeters and inches. * Proficiency with hand tools: grinders, manual drills, and pneumatic torque guns. * Basic knowledge of piping and fittings. * Experience in surface finishing and paint application. * Proactive, responsible individual with willingness to learn and support assigned tasks. **Benefits** * Compensation: **S/ 1,300**. * Full payroll registration under GCA plan from day one. * Meal allowance covered at **60%**. * Overtime pay. * All statutory benefits.
