Job Summary: We are seeking a Customs Clearance Agent with experience in operations and technical expertise to process customs clearances and determine national subheadings. Key Highlights: 1. Proficient use of electronic customs clearance systems and regulatory platforms **CUSTOMS CLEARANCE AGENT PROFILE:** 1\. University graduate in International Trade, International Business, or Customs Administration. 2\. Technical knowledge of the General Customs Law, customs valuation, free trade agreements (FTAs), and customs regimes. 3\. Proficient use of electronic customs clearance systems and regulatory authority platforms. 4\. Minimum 3 years of experience in similar positions at a customs agency (Mandatory) 5\. Handling volume exceeding 90 operations per month. (Mandatory) 6\. Age range: 25–35 years 7\. Ability to work under pressure **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Process customs clearances applying customs regulations, procedures, the customs tariff, valuation rules, origin rules, customs duties, releases, exemptions, etc. * Review original documentation received from clients in coordination with sector specialists for DUA numbering. * Inform sector specialists and Operations Manager of DUA numbers and payable duty amounts. * Determine the correct national subheading for goods according to the Customs Tariff. * Process, number, transmit, regularize, and rectify the Customs Declaration of Goods (DAM) via computerized systems (e.g., SUNAT’s platform). * Calculate and analyze taxes, tariffs, withholdings, and duties applicable to imports or exports. **EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS:** * Formal employment with full statutory benefits * Profit-sharing participation * 70% EPS health insurance coverage * Working hours: Monday–Saturday / 09:00 AM–06:00 PM Employment type: Full-time Salary: S/.2,000.00–S/.2,500.00 per month Work location: On-site employment
