The ideal candidate must be able to read and understand project scopes of work and sold contracts, as this knowledge is essential for the permit application process. We value a collaborative environment that enhances your professional development. **Responsibilities:** * Prepare, submit, and follow up on permit applications to agencies, third parties, or directly with local authorities. * Coordinate with Project Managers, the Legal department, and the Sales team to ensure timely permit acquisition. * Communicate fluently, professionally, and effectively with municipal officials, inspectors, and other authorities. * Maintain accurate records of permits, renewals, documentation, and fees. * Review all documentation to prevent delays or errors. * Support the renewal of company and subcontractor licenses. * Schedule municipal inspections and ensure proper field coordination. * Report weekly on the status of permits and any missing documentation. * Maintain all correspondence and records for internal control and audits. * Request and organize all necessary documentation for permits, such as insurance certificates, bonds, workers' compensation, and letters. * Ensure full compliance with municipal, provincial, and state regulations by managing all documentation and direct communication with involved parties. **Requirements:** * Education: Law or Administration. * Prior experience in regulatory compliance or administrative documentation is preferred. * Experience in engineering, roofing, or general construction is a plus.
