We are looking for a highly qualified, detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our growing team. This person will play a key role in supporting our clients by managing day-to-day accounting functions, developing financial models, and providing controller-level oversight.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working directly with clients, thrive in a consulting environment, and adapt easily to the needs of diverse industries.
Key Responsibilities
Client Accounting Support
Oversee and review monthly closings: reconciliations, journal entries, and preparation of financial statements.
Ensure accounting records are accurate, compliant with GAAP, and aligned with each client’s specific requirements.
Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and cash flow reporting as needed.
Financial Modeling and Analysis
Create and maintain financial models to support client decision-making (budgets, forecasts, acquisition analyses, etc.).
Provide variance analysis and performance outlooks to identify risks and opportunities.
Management Control and Advisory
Act as an external controller for clients, overseeing financial operations and improving processes.
Develop and implement internal controls, accounting policies, and best practices.
Collaborate with CFOs, CEOs, and investors to deliver practical, strategic recommendations.
Client Service and Collaboration
Serve as the daily point of contact for clients’ accounting and financial inquiries.
Collaborate with fractional CFOs, consultants, and client teams to deliver high-quality work.
Prepare materials and present findings in client meetings.
Requirements
Proficiency in English.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred but not mandatory).
4–7 years of progressive accounting experience (ideally in public accounting firms, management control, or consulting).
Strong knowledge of GAAP standards, financial reporting, and accounting best practices.
Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
Experience with accounting/ERP systems such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Sage Intacct is desirable.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and client relationship management skills.
